The top of the Avocado sprout is starting to get leaves.

American Kestral (Sparrow Hawk), the smallest Falcon, hunting for his afternoon snack. Later, I saw this bird, from this hover, take a grasshopper.

The same bird launching into the air on one of her dinner forays. Literally. She sits on this little dead tree, and waits, for an insect to come by, she then launches, grabs a bite and sits down again, and waits for the next bite to come by. … She does not sit long.

Van Life. There were many that were really tricked out, and displayed as an Open House. This area is the Town Square of the gathering. The crowd at the end were being interviewed about what they want out of life.

This is another capture of our little Anna’s Hummingbird on its twig. They are very territorial, as in protecting where they live, but also meaning that they live somewhere. They have the place where they sleep, the place where they watch what is going on in the world, the places where they eat. … You know, territorial, as in, "This is where I live my life, have friends, my mate, and my children." … And, as in, "My twig."

Here she is again, waiting for me. I am doing my best to keep up with her. I can keep up as long as she is walking, or just in a gentle lope. But, when sh is running, I just have to wait for her to come back. … Which she does, just to check if I am still ambling along.
