This application, Hyperlapse by Instagram, is a free tool that was released a couple days ago for the iPhone. The folk at Instagram realized that the iPhone has abuilt in gyroscope whose results can be used by other applications, including the one they just released.
So, in effect, your iPhone can now be a gyrostabalized video camera. … 🙂 Cool!
