Arachnid 2 July 28, 2020 at 03:36PM

Argiope Lobeta, the brown Art, on Fiesta island. Spiders have a tendency to become the color of the landscape over time. If this were a Silver Argiope, it would not hang around for very long in this brown area of Fiesta Island.

The great black wasp July 23, 2020 at 01:24PM

Unlike other wasps, they do not have stripes or other markings. They have the standard wasp body with large wings, large head and eyes, a very tiny, thin waist and then a large back end. What sets the great black wasp apart from others is that they can grow up to 1 – 1.3 inches in length.

Ny niece, Lena, said they look like Faries when she saw them.

For some unknown reason, animals do not die alone. They gather together in graveyards.

Cracks in the Mud July 22, 2020 at 12:24AM

I grew up in a small town. The town was so small that one of the big things that we did for enjoyment on the weekends was to go down to the river and watch the cracks in the mud got wider.

A Woman and her Dog July 09, 2020 at 08:40PM

I was across the way, and saw a man walking without his dog. I asked him where his dog was, and he pointed across the island at this woman, his wife, and their dog. I told him I would send him this image.

In the Eye of the Snake July 09, 2020 at 08:40PM

I like this image because it documents me capturing this image. If you look at the snakes left eye. On the side closest to the snakes nose, you can see me taking this picture. Cool!

This is the close-up of just the eye, the little arrows point to the top of me with my camera, and to my knees as I am kneeling down to take this image.
