Today, we had rain. Nowdays, rains are few and far between. The brown stalks are from last years flowwering, We have not had enough rain for the flowers to really grow. The grasses came early, and here they are beaten down by the rain from last night,

It is very important for San Diegans to realize what an amazing gem we have in Fiesta Island. It is an enclave of nature right in the middle of Mission Bay. It should not be developed into a money making devolped park. It should remain as natural as it can.
