This is another capture of our little Anna’s Hummingbird on its twig. They are very territorial, as in protecting where they live, but also meaning that they live somewhere. They have the place where they sleep, the place where they watch what is going on in the world, the places where they eat. … You know, territorial, as in, "This is where I live my life, have friends, my mate, and my children." … And, as in, "My twig."
