For some unknown reason, animals do not die alone. They gather together in graveyards.

Cracks in the Mud July 22, 2020 at 12:24AM

I grew up in a small town. The town was so small that one of the big things that we did for enjoyment on the weekends was to go down to the river and watch the cracks in the mud got wider.

A Woman and her Dog July 09, 2020 at 08:40PM

I was across the way, and saw a man walking without his dog. I asked him where his dog was, and he pointed across the island at this woman, his wife, and their dog. I told him I would send him this image.

In the Eye of the Snake July 09, 2020 at 08:40PM

I like this image because it documents me capturing this image. If you look at the snakes left eye. On the side closest to the snakes nose, you can see me taking this picture. Cool!

This is the close-up of just the eye, the little arrows point to the top of me with my camera, and to my knees as I am kneeling down to take this image.

On Fiesta Island. This is a very gentle and very beneficial local snake. Even the rattlesnakes are good for us.

Dragonfly July 05, 2020 at 09:56AM

This guy/gal hung out hovering in the driveway for a few minutes. I was washing dishes in the kitchen, and there it was. I thought it would go away before I could dry my hands and grab my camera. But it was still there, darting around a 10 cubic meter area, so I dried my hands and grabbed the camera. … I was focusing, and getting the exposure right, and I shot this Image before it finally darted away. … If I had moved sooner, like when I first saw the insect, I would have many images to choose from. As it is, theis is the best out of a five image burst. … And, so it goes.
