Easily missed if you are not looking for them. They do seem to be fairly well camouflaged.

Even though the rainy season has come and gone. Eventhough we are moving into the warm summer months. Eventhough many other things, we still have stands of wildflowers that take refuge from the sun in the shadow of a sage bush.

So the season of flowering has come and gone, now we are in the season of the ripining. This plant only has a few seed pods left. Perhaos enough seeds will mature, dry through the winter, and sprout next spring. … One can only wait and see.
